Symptoms of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Carpal tunnel syndrome manifests itself with pain in the thumb, index finger, middle finger, and half of the ring finger. The pain is usually burning in nature and is more severe at night. Because of the pain, the patient often shakes their hands. It may be seen in one or both hands. It is more pronounced in the right hand. If the damage to the nerve is severe, the complaints may continue throughout the day. Numbness, tingling, and loss of strength may occur in the palm and fingers.
